SpinStar was my entry for my very first Game Jam, the 2021 Kenney Game Jam!, a yearly 48 hour Game Jam where only assets created by KenneyNL are allowed.
I worked entirely solo for this game jam, and decided that I wanted to use Kenney's space assets to make a game about orbits/spinning in space.
Working in Phaser3, I spent the first day implementing the movement system & galaxies, and the second day adding UI, targets, hazards, and score.
In the process, I learned alot about managing scope, and a few new tools in Phaser, but am overall quite proud of this project. It ranked in the top 35% of entries overall.
